About the company
Fiducial is a young but fast-growing deep-tech start-up with big ambitions at the frontier of autonomy, perception, and defence. Our core expertise lies in 3D vision and graphics technologies which we deploy in a dual-use context for inspection and defence. This role focuses on developing guidance, navigation and control systems for advanced UAVs in defence applications.
Our team consists of experienced engineers with strong backgrounds in autonomous systems, robotics, and aerospace. We're looking for talented control engineers to help us build the next generation of autonomous UAV systems.
What we're looking for:
We're seeking a Control Systems Engineer with expertise in autonomous systems and flight control. You should have experience with control theory, system modeling, and embedded control systems. Experience with UAVs or aerospace systems is highly valued.
Key responsibilities:

Design and implement flight control algorithms

Develop guidance and navigation systems

Model and simulate control systems

Conduct system identification and tuning

Collaborate with hardware and software engineers

Test and validate control systems
Skill Requirements:
Absolute must-haves:

Strong understanding of control theory and dynamics

Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools

Knowledge of embedded systems

Experience with system modeling and simulation

Problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent English communication
Nice-to-haves:

Experience with UAV flight control
