Job Description
This position starts in Zoetermeer, Netherlands with relocation to Aachen, Germany after approximately 1 year.

The Role
Hands-on engineer developing and optimizing high-temperature furnace systems for material growth, combining R&D with manufacturing responsibilities.
What You Will Do
-
Adapt and transfer existing processes to a newly upgraded furnace tool
-
Optimize material growth processes and design/test new furnace components
-
Perform hands-on equipment modifications including installation and testing
-
Collaborate with R&D to validate system updates and meet quality targets
-
Work in cleanroom environments following process control standards
Requirements
-
Required: 3+ years experience operating or maintaining furnace systems
-
Proficiency with high-temperature wafer processes
-
Cleanroom environment experience (R&D lab or semiconductor fab)
-
Hands-on technical aptitude for troubleshooting and improvements
-
Willingness to relocate from Netherlands to Germany

Experience with process scaling or recipe transfer between systems
Nice to Have
-
Semiconductor, advanced materials, or nanomaterials expertise

Interest in translating innovation into practical applications
