LeydenJar Technologies develops advanced silicon anode battery technology, delivering performance improvements of up to 70% compared to traditional battery industry standards. The company is establishing PlantOne in Eindhoven, operational by 2026.
The Role
This is a dual-phase role supporting the new silicon anode battery plant in Eindhoven:
Phase 1 (Until end of 2026): Involved in the Plant One start-up phase, where the new plant utilities will be made operational.
Phase 2 (From 2027): Responsible for maintaining and improving equipment performance across the facility, with a strong focus on vacuum deposition systems.
What You'll Do

Oversee installation of mechanical utility systems including HVAC, process cooling, and gas distribution

Ensure optimal performance of vacuum deposition equipment through preventive maintenance
-
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime and reliability
-
Manage spare parts strategy and maintenance contracts
-
Drive compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
-
Provide technical input on future factory construction projects
Requirements
-
Required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
-
Minimum 5 years industrial experience
-
Knowledge of vacuum systems, preferably PECVD
-
Technical drawing and P&ID proficiency
-
Fluent English; Dutch preferred
-
4-5 days per week on-site presence
