Deputy forward operations manager
Job Description
We are an innovative start-up based in Amsterdam, specializing in developing advanced unmanned systems software for Defense. We have a diverse team of engineers, project managers and defense experts and are aiming to grow to 70+ employees within the coming year.
As deputy forward operations manager you own the execution, development, and quality assurance of all operational frameworks in Ukraine, ensuring readiness, effectiveness, and alignment with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Lead and maintain all company-led activities in Ukraine

Develop, deploy, and optimize operational readiness frameworks in forward environments

Ensure quality of onboarding, training, and ongoing support provided to military end users
-
Act as the local representative for product support and escalate field issues to the relevant departments

Provide structured feedback to support QA and engineering improvements
Requirements

Extensive field operations experience, ideally in high-intensity zones

Strong leadership and organizational skills
