About the company
Fiducial is a young but fast-growing deep-tech start-up with big ambitions at the frontier of autonomy, perception, and defence. Our core expertise lies in 3D vision and graphics technologies which we deploy in a dual-use context for inspection and defence. This role will focus on developing advanced computer vision algorithms for UAV situational awareness.
Our team consists of engineers passionate about computer vision and AI. We're looking for talented vision engineers to help us push the state-of-the-art in autonomous perception.
What we're looking for:
We're seeking a Computer Vision Engineer with expertise in image processing and computer vision algorithms. You should have experience with modern CV frameworks and deep learning. Experience developing vision systems for robotics or aerospace is a plus.
Key responsibilities:

Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms

Work with deep learning models for object detection and tracking

Integrate vision systems with embedded platforms

Conduct algorithm testing and validation

Collaborate with graphics and control engineers

Optimize for real-time performance
Skill Requirements:
Absolute must-haves:

Strong C++ and Python skills

Experience with OpenCV or similar libraries

Knowledge of image processing fundamentals

Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)

Understanding of computer vision concepts

Excellent English communication
