Responsibilities

As Head of Engineering at Intelic, you'll lead our engineering team and drive the technical vision of our mission autonomy platform. You'll be responsible for:

• Managing and mentoring a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence

• Owning the technical architecture of our products and ensuring quality and reliability at scale

• Driving delivery of major product features and improvements while maintaining code quality

• Collaborating with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Defining engineering standards, processes, and best practices

• Working with external partners and stakeholders to integrate our systems

• Ensuring our systems meet the stringent requirements of defense applications

• Building an organization that attracts and retains top engineering talent

Who You Are

You're an experienced engineering leader with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams. You have a deep understanding of software architecture and can translate business needs into technical strategy. You're passionate about technology and creating products that matter.

Ideally, you:

• Have 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role

• Have experience leading teams of 5-20+ engineers

• Have strong knowledge of modern software architecture and design patterns

• Have experience with C++, Python, or similar systems programming languages

• Have experience with robotics, autonomous systems, or real-time systems

• Have worked in regulated environments (aerospace, defense, medical)

• Have experience shipping products in demanding environments
