About Sybilla Technologies
Sybilla Technologies develops advanced Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) solutions that help institutions, defense customers, and commercial operators protect satellites, manage orbital safety, and make informed decisions in an increasingly complex space environment. We are growing quickly across Europe and expanding our sensor network, product capabilities, and international presence.
We are now looking for a Market Intelligence Analyst to strengthen our Commercial team.
Role Overview
As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering decision‑grade market intelligence that directly shapes our commercial strategy, product direction, and international expansion. This is a hands‑on, research‑driven role requiring strong analytical thinking, the ability to work with incomplete information, and a structured approach to solving real market problems.
Your insights will be used by Business Development, Product, PMO, and company leadership. You will work at the intersection of the space, defense, and technology ecosystems — identifying opportunities, partners, competitors, and trends that influence Sybilla's roadmap.
This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, curious, and comfortable diving deeply into unfamiliar markets and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Market & Competitive Intelligence
-
Analyzing the SSA/SST, defense and space markets: players, trends, technologies, and regulations.
-
Tracking competitors, their offerings, positioning, partnerships, and strategic moves.
- Opportunity & Partner Scouting
-
Identifying potential partners (especially in key European markets such as Germany).
-
Evaluating technological and commercial fit and support decisions on collaborations and EU programs (EDF, Horizon Europe, ESA/EUSPA calls).
- Research & Data Validation
-
Gathering information from diverse sources (reports, filings, EU databases, patents, procurement portals).
-
Validating and organizing data through cross‑checking and structured research methods.
- Insight Generation
-
Turning complex, fragmented information into short, clear insights and recommendations for Business Development, Product, and Leadership.
-
Preparing one‑pagers, briefs, and market notes supporting strategic decisions.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration
- Working closely with BD, PMO, and Product teams to support market entry, positioning, and project planning with data‑driven analysis.
Requirements
Must have
-
4+ years of experience in Market Intelligence, Competitive Intelligence, Consulting, Strategy, Business Research, Product Strategy, or similar roles.
-
Proven ability to conduct hands‑on research and solve problems with incomplete or ambiguous data.
-
Strong analytical reasoning and ability to structure information clearly and logically.
-
Experience analyzing technology‑driven markets (e.g., aerospace, defense, industrial, telecom, semiconductors).
-
Ability to create clear, concise, actionable insights (not only long reports).
-
Familiarity with EU institutional landscape, public funding programs, or complex B2G markets.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
-
High level of independence, ownership, and curiosity.
Nice‑to‑have
-
Experience with ESA, EUSPA, EDF, Horizon Europe, or other EU‑level programs.
-
Knowledge of European defense and/or space industry ecosystems.
-
Experience with competitive intelligence frameworks, patent analysis, or procurement scouting.
-
Knowledge of German or French markets.
Who Will Succeed in This Role?
Someone who:
-
thinks in steps,
-
validates data rather than accepting it at face value,
-
can independently find and evaluate partners, opportunities, technologies,
-
can make sense of unclear or incomplete information,
-
transforms complexity into simple recommendations,
-
enjoys deep research but also understands business impact.
-
If you enjoy connecting dots, exploring new domains, and helping a tech company expand into new markets — this is the right role for you.
What we offer:
-
Remote‑first culture – work from anywhere you feel most productive. Our offices in Bydgoszcz and Zielonka are available, but the choice is yours.
-
Flexible working hours – shape your schedule to fit your life and your flow.
-
Competitive compensation – full‑time employment contract with a salary range of 12,000–16,000 PLN gross/month, depending on your skills and experience. B2B cooperation is also available.
-
A role in a rapidly growing Space‑tech company – contribute to projects that push boundaries and shape the future of the space industry.
-
Thoughtful onboarding and continuous growth – we support you from day one, with structured onboarding and ongoing development opportunities.
-
Health & wellness benefits – private medical care and a sports package to help you stay energized and well.
