Job Description

ARQUIMEA seeks a Head/Lead Microelectronics Design to lead advanced microelectronics solutions. Responsible for directing the microelectronics design group (digital, analog, mixed-signal), defining technical architecture and supervising ASIC and SoC development for commercial and high-reliability applications. Space applications (Rad-Hard/Hi-Rel) or cryptographic device experience especially valued.

Main functions:

  • Lead technical and strategic direction of microelectronics group

  • Define analog, digital, and mixed-signal ASIC architectures

  • Supervise complete development cycle: specification, design, verification, validation, testing

  • Lead analog and mixed-signal block design: amplifiers, ADCs, PLLs, frequency synthesizers, ΣΔ modulators

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams

  • Technical interface with strategic customers

  • Promote innovation and IP generation

  • Develop Rad-Hard and high-reliability solutions

Required qualifications:

  • Industrial, Telecommunications, Electronics engineering or similar

  • Master's or specialization in Microelectronics/ASIC Design (Doctorate valued)

  • Minimum 10 years microelectronics design experience

  • Team leadership experience

  • ASIC/SoC digital, advanced analog, mixed-signal design knowledge

  • VHDL/RTL and SoC architecture experience

  • Circuit verification and validation knowledge

  • Hi-Rel, Rad-Hard, or FDSOI process experience valued

  • B2+ English level

Location: Madrid (Serrano Galvache), flexible, occasional travel.
