The Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for our Barcelona office to develop advanced propulsion system components from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize propulsion system components with a focus on performance, reliability, and manufacturability

• Create 3D models, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications

• Develop technical documentation including specifications and procedures

• Support system integration within vehicle architecture

• Work with propulsion engineers to refine designs based on testing

• Coordinate with suppliers on manufacturing feasibility

Requirements

• BSc in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

• Minimum 5+ years in mechanical design, ideally in space sector

• Advanced CAD proficiency (Siemens NX preferred)

• PLM tools experience (Teamcenter preferred)

• ISO GPS and tolerance analysis expertise

• Strong DfM (Design for Manufacturability) understanding

• Fluent English; Spanish/French advantageous

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Desired Qualifications

• MSc in relevant engineering field

• FEM/structural analysis competency

• Additive manufacturing design experience

• Rotating assembly expertise

• Aerospace standards knowledge for pressurized components
