The Role
This leadership position involves overseeing the combustion devices team while directing thrust chamber development for multiple engine programs, including the Arcos aerospike and Kronos full-flow staged combustion engines.
Key Responsibilities

Direct team operations focused on design and optimization of thrust chambers

Ensure designs satisfy performance, reliability, and safety specifications

Coordinate across Systems, Mechanical, and Test departments
-
Manage project schedules, resources, and expenditures
-
Oversee testing and validation initiatives
-
Document all design activities thoroughly
-
Maintain compliance with applicable standards
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
-
Minimum 3 years in thrust chamber or rocket engine development
-
Team leadership experience demonstrated
-
Advanced proficiency with simulation tools (CFD, FEA analysis)
-
Knowledge of liquid rocket engine systems and aerospike technologies
Preferred Qualifications

Master's or doctoral degree in relevant engineering field
-
Background with European space propulsion initiatives
-
Understanding of cryogenic propellant handling
-
Fluency in English; Spanish/French proficiency valued
-
Experience mentoring junior engineers
