The Role

We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our Barcelona team. This hybrid position involves space propulsion testing including cryogenic rocket engines and subsystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with assessment, planning, preparation, execution, and reporting of space propulsion tests, including cryogenic rocket engines and subsystems

• Operate and maintain test facilities and ground support equipment

• Contribute test data to propulsion system development

• Execute data acquisition setup and calibration activities

• Analyze post-test data and prepare reports

• Collaborate with design teams on test parameters and objectives

• Support preventive maintenance programs

• Implement improvements to test procedures and instrumentation

• Ensure safety and quality compliance

Requirements

• Approximately 2 years in aerospace, propulsion, or hardware testing (academic or professional)

• Strong engineering background, preferably aerospace

• Knowledge of test instrumentation and data acquisition systems

• Understanding of safety practices in high-pressure or cryogenic environments

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is advantageous

• Familiarity with data analysis tools (MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW) preferred

Preferred Experience

• Testing activities background within aerospace

• Familiarity with cryogenic or liquid propellant systems

Additional Information

The role includes frequent travel to the test site at Alguaire Airport (approximately 2 hours from Barcelona), with all expenses covered.
