
Materials & Processes Engineer
Job Description
Switzerland | onsite
Main responsibilities:
-
Plan and execute qualification test programs and implement new metallic materials, assembly technologies and processes
-
Lead materials and process projects in the field of Metals and Assembly
-
Ensure compliance of materials and processes with environmental and regulatory standards such as REACH
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate materials and processes into product design
-
Compile and revise technical documentation such as Process Specifications, Engineering Standards and Engineering Reports
-
Conduct and coordinate material failure analyses and support Engineering, Production, Quality and Customer Support in metallic materials and process topics
Required qualifications and experience:
-
MSc degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
-
Demonstrate strong expertise in metallic materials and Assembly processes
-
Good German and English skills at B2 level with a cooperative and proactive personality
-
Apply analytical problem-solving skills to complex technical challenges
-
Work independently with a flexible, committed, and target-oriented mindset
-
Communicate effectively in interdisciplinary teams, showing strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
