The Role
Business Development Manager responsible for NATO accounts, focusing on strategic programs in defence communications and secure networking.
What You'll Do
Drive Business Growth and Revenue:

Achieve annual sales and growth targets for NATO accounts

Build alliances with European defence primes, system integrators, and local partners to strengthen market presence
Strategic Partnerships and Channel Development:
-
Identify and develop strategic partnerships with key European industry players, defence primes and regional distributors supporting NATO programs
-
Negotiate teaming agreements, cooperative frameworks, and joint pursuits to expand reach across NATO member nations
-
Manage partner relationships to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and performance objectives
-
Collaborate with partners to co-develop solutions and marketing initiatives that address NATO's evolving operational requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
-
Partner with Innovation, Engineering, Product and Marketing to create customer-aligned solutions
-
Translate NATO requirements into actionable technical and business inputs for internal teams
-
Contribute to proposal development, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning
Market Intelligence and Forecasting:
-
Track NATO defence policy developments, capability roadmaps, and budget allocations related to SATCOM, ISR, and digital transformation
-
Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and competitive analyses in CRM systems
-
Deliver timely and insightful updates to leadership on account health, risks, and emerging opportunities
Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in defence, aerospace, or satellite communications business development
-
(In lieu of degree, a minimum of 13 years of directly related experience will be considered)
-
Proven success in selling or managing business development within NATO, European defence institutions, or multinational defence environments is essential
