The Role

The Project Manager will lead a portfolio of innovation projects and product development initiatives, serving as a crucial link between engineering teams, stakeholders, and leadership.

What You'll Do

Project Delivery & Product Development:

• Provide leadership and management of a small portfolio of projects and products

• Oversee complete project lifecycles from initiation through closure

• Develop schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans

• Define scope and establish key milestones aligned with objectives

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, production, and testing activities

• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation approaches

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality processes

• Manage stakeholder communications across internal and external parties

• Deliver progress reports and performance updates

• Lead change control procedures with proper documentation

• Support process improvement initiatives

Business Development Support:

• Support bid writing, pricing, contract reviews

• Engage with customers and attend industry events

Requirements

• Required: Strong project planning and coordination abilities

• Leadership and team management expertise

• Proficiency with project management software

• Commercial awareness and contract management experience

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Analytical problem-solving capability

• HSE standards knowledge

Nice to Have

• Engineering or aerospace experience

• Aviation or autonomous systems familiarity

• Defence sector exposure
