EDA Infrastructure Engineer

The Role
Join as an EDA Infrastructure Engineer to support silicon development operations, building scalable compute systems for computationally intensive workloads while collaborating with hardware and software engineering teams.
What You'll Do

Create tooling and workflows for EDA platforms, requiring coding and build-system expertise

Deploy and maintain computing infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code frameworks like Ansible or Terraform
-
Administer network services including VPN, LDAP authentication, storage systems, and licensing servers
-
Operate cluster computing solutions for scheduling resource-intensive jobs
-
Implement monitoring systems for resource tracking and system health
-
Partner with engineers to optimize workload performance
Requirements
-
Preferred: Modern programming languages and IaC frameworks
-
Linux/Unix administration and shared compute environment management
-
Experience diagnosing infrastructure bottlenecks
-
Grid compute system deployment (Slurm/LSF/SGE)
-
Containerization frameworks (Docker/Singularity)
Nice to Have
-
EDA tooling experience
-
Workload management tools (Slurm)
-
Container systems (Docker, Kubernetes)

Infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform)

Build system knowledge (Bazel)
