The Role

We are seeking a self-directed AI Engineer to develop innovative AI solutions from prototype through deployment, reporting to the VP Innovation and AI Services.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement end-to-end AI systems with databases and data pipelines

• Evaluate latest AI models and architectures for customer applications

• Configure local LLM infrastructure and knowledge bases

• Develop full-stack prototypes combining front-end and back-end AI components

• Collaborate on prompt engineering and query optimization techniques

• Document learnings to inform AI strategy

• Drive autonomous project ownership with clear customer value articulation

• Travel to customer sites for on-site solution delivery

Requirements

• Required: Undergraduate degree in technical discipline (CS, mathematics, physics) from reputable university

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG systems, and AI deployment

• Software development proficiency in languages like Rust, C++, or Python

• Generalist engineering background across multiple technical domains

• Action-oriented execution mindset with systematic problem-solving

• Customer-focused perspective translating concepts into functional prototypes

• Strong curiosity, humility, and ability to communicate complex technical concepts

• Must be eligible for Security Check (SC) level clearance
