Aerospacelab designs and manufactures small satellites with a vertically integrated approach. Founded in 2018, they have over 350 employees and aim to become the European leader in small satellites by delivering solutions that are "simultaneously faster, better, cheaper."
The Role
Lead the technical development of satellites and platforms from early concepts to in-orbit deployment. Work closely with the project manager to answer best to customer needs.
What You'll Do

Design overall satellite architecture meeting mission objectives, including system requirements, budget exercises, and subsystem selection

Proactively manage technical risks and serve as chief engineer coordinating development across subsystems

Collaborate with internal teams to enhance industrial efficiency
-
Support testing, integration, launch, and commissioning activities
-
Handle customer interface and configuration management duties
Requirements
-
Required: Minimum 8 years in satellite engineering (systems engineer or related discipline covering AOCS, mechanical, thermal, power, or avionics)
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills
-
Problem-solving capability with ability to make decisions under uncertainty
-
Motivation to "challenge the European space industry status quo"
Nice to Have

Telecom payload experience

Hands-on satellite assembly and integration experience
