About Aerospacelab Our mission is supported by an ambitious vertically integrated approach: design & manufacture of small satellites combined with development of earth observation services. Since its creation in 2018, the company has already grown substantially. Our team gathers more than 25 engineering expertise, from hardware design to software development & data science.
In 2024, Aerospacelab counts offices in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Toulouse (France), Lausanne (Switzerland) and US West Coast with more than 200 full-time employees, with the ambition to position itself as the European leader in small satellites.
Your mission Be responsible for setting up and accomplishing tasks in our facilities, including:
- Thermal vacuum tests
- Vibration tests
- Electrical functional tests
- Thermal chamber tests Be responsible for assembly and integration activities
- Mechanical and electrical assembly and integration of ASL’s prototypes and products.
- Integration of connectors, temperature hardware and sensors on ASL’s test and flight harness Document processes and maintain accurate records of activities
Must have
- Experience in environmental testing (TVAC, Shaker, ..)
- Problem solving, hands-on mentality
- High attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standard
- English working proficiency
- Willingness to learn a broad range of engineering topics
- Flexible to rapidly evolving project priorities and needs
- Ability to work independently and in team
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with design and assembly of complex assemblies
- Experience in use of milling machine, lathe, drills, etc.
- Prior experience in space sector
- Prior experience working in a cleanroom environment
- Relevant training or technical diploma

Key Responsibilities:

Be responsible for setting up and accomplishing tasks in our facilities, including: Thermal vacuum tests, Vibration tests, Electrical functional tests, Thermal chamber tests
