Job Description
Engineering - Multiple locations - Hybrid
About the Role
We are seeking a Control Engineer to tackle all control-related challenges across the missile development portfolio, both at the system and sub-system level. You will architect, develop, and validate robust control solutions that enable autonomous flight, precision guidance, and reliable manoeuvrability.
Key Responsibilities
-
Design end-to-end control system architectures for the overall homing loop as well as sub-components.
-
Synthesize and tune controllers using classical (PID, gain scheduling) and modern optimal/robust techniques (LQR, H-infinity, mu synthesis).
-
Partner with actuation, airframe, propulsion, and electronics teams to ensure control laws are compatible with actuator bandwidth, structural dynamics, and sensor characteristics.
-
Derive clear control system requirements and maintain configuration baselines throughout the product lifecycle.
We Would Love You to Have
-
Technical degree in aerospace engineering, cybernetics, electrical engineering, or related field.
-
Prior experience in control-related fields of aerospace engineering.
-
Deep expertise in PID, LQR, gain scheduling, inversion-based control, H-infinity tuning, and mu synthesis.
-
Proficient in model-based design and operational code generation.
-
Willingness to undergo a background check.
