Mark I
Mark I
A short-range air-defence interceptor missile built entirely from commercial off-the-shelf components. Designed from the outset for mass production rather than bespoke performance, it addresses the mismatch between low-cost attack drones and expensive traditional interceptors. Frankenburg moved the Mark I from concept to advanced testing and industrialisation in 13 months, with production targets exceeding 100 missiles per day per site. An AI-powered situational awareness platform provides threat anticipation and targeting, allowing the system to stay ahead of adversary tactics.

About

Frankenburg Technologies is an Estonian defence startup founded in 2024 by Taavi Madiberk and Marko Virkebau, headquartered in Tallinn. The company was built around a single conviction: that traditional defence procurement is fundamentally mismatched to the pace of modern conflict. Its answer is to develop missile systems that are dramatically cheaper and faster to produce than anything currently available.
