The Role
Within the Hardware development team, participate in satellite development with responsibilities spanning thermal and mechanical engineering.
What You'll Do
-
Design mechanical and thermal solutions for satellite applications
-
Conduct preliminary thermal and mechanical dimensioning
-
Prepare thermal calculation documentation
-
Perform thermal modeling and simulations for electronics and mechanical products (vacuum applications)
-
Organize and conduct thermal vacuum tests for correlation with numerical models
Requirements
-
Confirmed experience in thermal engineering
-
Expertise in thermal modeling/simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL, proprietary codes)
-
Proficiency with mechanical design software (CREO, Solidworks, CATIA)
-
Experience conducting experimental testing and physical measurements (TVAC, thermal cycling, radiation)
-
Professional-level English proficiency
-
Vacuum thermal engineering and high-reliability applications knowledge (aerospace, space, defense) preferred
