Head of Manufacturing (f/m/d)

We're looking for a Head of Manufacturing to lead the design, setup, and scaling of our manufacturing operations. You'll be responsible for establishing manufacturing processes, ensuring quality, managing supply chain integration, and building a high-performing team. In this critical role, you'll shape the infrastructure that takes our Quantum Diamond Microscope from prototype to production while maintaining our commitment to excellence and innovation.

Founded in 2022 as a spin-off of TU Munich, QD leverages quantum sensors to rapidly capture three-dimensional current maps within multi-layer chips. Our strong team of over 50 physicists, engineers, and data scientists works side by side with major semiconductor manufacturers, helping them in chip debugging and accelerating their yield analysis. • Proven experience leading manufacturing operations in hardware or complex systems

• Strong expertise in process design, quality management, and supply chain optimization

• Leadership skills with the ability to build and mentor a growing team

• Problem-solving mindset and agility in a rapidly scaling environment

• English fluency (German a plus)
