Job Description

What we do (and why it matters):

Swarmer develops software that makes drones autonomous and allows them to operate together, in large teams, without pilots required. Our technology has been battle-tested across 100,000+ combat missions in Ukraine — the world's most intense proving ground for drone warfare. We just closed a $15M Series A (the largest investment in Ukrainian defense tech since the war began) and we're scaling operations to serve NATO-aligned nations.

This isn't theoretical. This is software that's being used right now to save lives and defend democracy.

What we're looking for:

We are looking for a Flight Data Reporting Engineer to increase the value of flights performed by our flight teams. You'll work as a member of a flight team, gather flight logs and other information from each flight, describe any issues occurring during flights and provide feedback from field operations.

This is a great role for someone who is meticulous and detail-oriented, with a strong willingness to learn about drones and their use. You'll work closely with our head of test flights and provide the feedback from the fields, analyze and aggregate flights' information.

What you'll do:

  • Take part in test flights in the field;

  • Follow SOP checklists for pre-flight, in-flight observation;

  • Sync all flight logs, photos, videos, and supplementary data;

  • Identify deviations or abnormal system behavior and escalate them;

  • Investigate any abnormal or emergency situations with UAV and provide for their solutions;

  • Detect and analyze UAV flight patterns and propose improvements to the system;

  • Support pilots during field operations;

  • Gather flight logs and other information from the flights in accordance to post-flight SOP.

What you'll get:

  • Hands-on experience with modern UAV systems;

  • Path to UAV pilot, Drone Engineer or Flight Analyst;

  • Direct collaboration with field teams and engineers;

  • Competitive compensation and benefits;

  • A straightforward, no-bureaucracy culture.

How's the hiring process going:

✔️ Intro Call with TA Specialist → ✔️Tech Interview → ✔️Final Interview → ✔️Test Day → ✔️ Offer

Please note that, as a leading defense tech company, we take operations security seriously and may need to perform additional background checks as part of our hiring process. We will do so in accordance with all applicable EU laws and regulations and safeguard your data in the process.

Why this matters (and why you should care):

Ukraine is deploying 5 million drones in 2025 alone. The US and NATO are paying attention. The future of defense isn't more pilots — it's smarter software. We're not selling PowerPoints; we're selling proven technology that's been refined under the most demanding conditions imaginable. Our team is direct, moves fast, and doesn't waste time on performative nonsense. If you want a company with seven layers of approval and endless consensus-building, this isn't it. If you want to do the most important work of your career with people who say what they mean and execute, let's talk.

Ready to Apply? If you're excited about solving complex challenges and eager to contribute to the safety and security of Western-Democratic nations, please get in touch!
