Electronic Test Engineer- Aerospace
Madrid, Spain | onsite
Main responsibilities:
· Integrate, debug, and validate hardware, software, and firmware components at both module and unit levels.
· Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams (HW/SW/FW) to resolve technical issues.
· Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis during the execution of automated and manual test sequences.
· Develop, review, and optimize unit test procedures, ensuring alignment with project requirements and best engineering practices.
· Perform validation of the Unit Under Test using dedicated test benches, scripted test sequences, and verification tools.
· Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, including test reports, non-conformance summaries, and corrective-action recommendations.
· Contribute to the creation and upkeep of Verification Control Documents, ensuring proper traceability and compliance with program and certification standards.
Required qualifications and experience:
· Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (telecommunication engineering, industrial engineering, software engineering, physics, mathematics or other similar technical discipline)
· At least 3 years of experience with electronic units.
· Understanding of a whole system/equipment, including analogue and digital electronics, firmware and/or software.
· Experience in test activities: generation of test procedures and test reports, executing integration and validation test campaigns, etc.
· Experience with laboratory tools & instruments like multimeters, generators, power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, power meters, counters, etc.
· Critical thinking & decision making based on consistent information.
· Nice to have: Knowledge of office suite (excel, word, power point).
· Nice to have: Knowledge of communication buses: MIL-STD-1553, UART, SpW, SPI, …
· Nice to have: Experience validating FPGAs.
