Job Description

Your mission

Kreios Space is seeking an RF Analyst responsible for analyzing space communications in Earth‑space and space‑space links within the telecommunications domain. You will be part of an engineering team dedicated to the analysis and modeling of communication systems, including the design and evaluation of antenna parameters, the study of signal transmission and reception processes, and the analysis of communication techniques and architectures, always considering technical aspects with a clear orientation toward business needs and opportunities in the telecom sector.

**Responsibilities ** Under the direction of the Mission Manager, and in close interaction with the different work teams, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Perform communication link analysis for Earth‑space and space‑space scenarios within the telecommunications domain.

  • Participate in the analysis and modeling of communication systems in space environments.

  • Design, evaluate, and optimize antenna parameters according to system requirements.

  • Develop studies on signal transmission and reception considering technical and operational constraints.

  • Analyze and select communication techniques and architectures suitable for each mission or application.

  • Prepare technical documentation and support decision‑making with arguments based on performance, feasibility, and business requirements in the telecom sector.

  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure coherence between design, modeling, and commercial needs.

  • Identify improvement opportunities in current systems and contribute to defining business‑oriented solutions.

Your profile

**Education ** Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent. Master’s degree desirable.

Minimum Knowledge

  • Solid foundations in electronic communications and RF systems.

  • Knowledge of space communication links (Earth‑space and space‑space).

  • Basic handling of simulation and communication system modeling tools.

  • Understanding of antenna parameters and operation.

  • Understanding of modulation, demodulation, signal transmission, and signal reception processes.

  • Familiarity with link budgets and performance calculations.

  • General knowledge of the telecommunications sector and its technical requirements.

  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and produce clear reports.

Desired Knowledge

  • Previous experience in space communications analysis or satellite projects.

  • Advanced use of simulation tools (HFSS, CST, STK, GNURadio, etc.).

  • Familiarity with advanced communication architectures (MIMO, beamforming, SDR, error‑correction techniques, etc.).

  • Experience in interference analysis, spectral coexistence, and spectrum planning.

  • Proficiency with RF simulation tools.

  • Knowledge of Matlab, Python, C+.

**Experience ** At least 2 years working with advanced RF systems.
