The Role

Manage V-model design processes for autonomous navigation systems, working on UXV (Unmanned Extendable Vehicles) navigation co-pilot platform.

What You'll Do

• Manage V-model design processes for autonomous navigation systems with trade study analysis

• Define and monitor system requirements from conceptual phase through subsystem specification

• Build and maintain system architectures meeting technical specifications

• Develop features through modeling, tools, and processes across the engineering lifecycle

• Manage technical risks collaboratively with team and project management

• Address stakeholder technical concerns and communications

Requirements

• Required: 2-3 years in UAV, UXV, autonomous systems, or aerospace product development

• Strong analytical capabilities with first-principles problem-solving methodology

• Understanding of complete engineering lifecycle processes

• UK work eligibility and ability to obtain security clearance

Nice to Have

• Model-based systems engineering (MBSE, Simulink, UML, SysML)

• Embedded systems and dynamic system simulation expertise

• UAV/UXV and sensor experience (IMU, GPS, LIDAR, RADAR, cameras)

• Defence/aerospace or startup environment background
