Products & Solutions

Mission Systems Engineering
Rowden's systems integration capability for designing and fielding edge systems in complex operational environments. The team integrates sensing, compute and communications technologies into deployable solutions optimised for environments where connectivity is limited or denied, working across defence, national security and critical infrastructure programmes.
Sensing & Communications
Rowden designs and manufactures deployable RF and edge sensing systems for defence and national security applications. The portfolio includes the Magos family of precision sensing systems for use across government, defence and national infrastructure, and Mimic — an electronic warfare platform providing land forces with a scalable tool for deception and force protection. Mimic won the Product Launch Award in the Electronic Warfare category at the 2025 Army Technology Excellence Awards.
Edge Device Management
A software-defined control layer for provisioning, configuring and operating heterogeneous fleets of edge devices in both connected and disconnected environments. Designed for organisations that need to deploy and manage distributed device infrastructure at scale, including in environments with intermittent or no network access.

About

Rowden Technologies was founded in 2017 in Bristol, UK, by Rob Harper, a former British Army corporal, to address a gap that enterprise IT vendors were not filling. The company builds reliable systems for frontline operators and critical industries where connectivity is unreliable, denied or degraded. It focuses on the edge, where data sensing, processing and sharing happen under compressed decision-making timelines, and combines hardware manufacturing with deep software and systems integration capability.
