Data licence
What you may do with the DefenceJobs.org directory, job index and reports
What this covers
DefenceJobs.org maintains a database of European defence technology companies and their open roles. Every company entry is researched, verified against the company's own website and career pages, categorised and kept current by us. The directory, the job index, the company profiles and the reports computed from them are a protected database under Directive 96/9/EC on the legal protection of databases, as implemented across the European Union. The original descriptions, profiles and articles are also protected by copyright. Rights are held by the operator named in the legal notice.
What you may do
- Read, search and browse everything on the site, free, with no account.
- Link to any page, share any page, and quote figures, company names and short excerpts in articles, research, presentations and social posts, with attribution to DefenceJobs.org and a link to the page you used.
- Search engines and AI assistants may crawl, index and cite public pages so that people can find companies and roles here. Attribution to DefenceJobs.org is required when our data is presented to users.
- Companies may reuse their own profile text and images without restriction.
What you may not do
- Extract or copy a substantial part of the directory, the job index or the profiles, whether by scraping pages, calling the website's internal endpoints, or by any other automated means.
- Republish the directory or any substantial part of it on another website, in a product or in a dataset, with or without changes.
- Embed images served from our media domain in third-party pages.
- Remove or obscure attribution to DefenceJobs.org when reusing permitted excerpts.
Licensing and partnerships
Researchers, media, industry bodies and product teams who need more than excerpts can ask for a data licence or a partnership. Write to [email protected] with what you want to use and how. We say yes to most non-competing, attributed uses.
Corrections and takedowns
If an entry about your company is wrong or you want it removed, the procedure is in the legal notice. Corrections go live within one working day.
