Defence Tech Companies in Poland

Poland plans to spend 4.8 per cent of GDP on defence in 2026, the highest share in NATO, with a budget of roughly €47 billion backed partly by an off-budget Armed Forces Support Fund. The state-owned PGZ group anchors domestic production across roughly 30 companies, with three new ammunition factories underway following a €565 million state investment in mid-2025. A €100 million Polish Defence Fund is running alongside the MilTech accelerator programme, pushing capital toward startups and SMEs in AI, drones and dual-use tech.
