Project Finance Specialist

At Sybilla Technologies, we build critical space surveillance and traffic management systems used by governments and commercial space operators worldwide. As we expand our customer base and deliver complex projects, we need a talented Project Finance Specialist to manage project financials and ensure profitable growth.

The Role

As Project Finance Specialist, you'll:

• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial forecasting

• Support contract negotiations and ensure financial terms protect profitability

• Monitor project margins and identify cost optimization opportunities

• Prepare financial reports and project profitability analysis

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial health of all active projects

• Support commercial team with pricing analysis and cost estimation

• Develop project financial dashboards and KPI tracking

• Assist with government contract compliance and financial requirements

Your Background

You bring 3-5 years of project finance or related experience, with:

• Experience in project cost management and financial tracking

• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills

• Understanding of project accounting and cost allocation

• Experience with government or complex B2B contract financials

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

• Attention to detail and focus on accuracy

Nice to have:

• Experience in SaaS, software, or tech-enabled services

• Familiarity with project management tools and systems

• Knowledge of government contracting or defence sector

• Background with earned value management (EVM) or similar methodologies

• Understanding of space or satellite industry
