Quality Lead (UK and Global)

Build and command the quality system that underpins Isembard's entire industrial network.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and scale a unified ISO9001 / AS9100D quality system across owned and franchised factories

• Design inspection strategies (FAIRs, in-process, final inspection) for high-precision components

• Lead internal, external, and customer audits

• Own franchise site certification and ongoing compliance

• Lead critical root cause investigations

• Act as the senior quality interface to primes and high-stakes customers

Required Experience:

• Deep experience owning or running AS9100 / ISO9001 systems in high-precision manufacturing

• Background in aerospace, defence, or similarly regulated industries

• Proven ability to design and implement QMS from first principles

• Strong command of capability analysis and process control

• Experience leading audits, certifications, and customer quality interactions

• High judgment: willing to stop production when needed and defend that decision
