Eos C VTOL

A long-range fixed-wing surveillance and target acquisition UAS with vertical takeoff and landing capability. Weighing 14 kg, it offers up to three hours endurance, a radio line-of-sight range of 50 km and a maximum distance of 190 km. The system operates without GPS in contested environments, features EW-resistant communications and can be deployed by two operators in under four minutes from a 10x10 metre area. It operates between -20C and +50C and up to 4,500 metres altitude.

eOpic Electro-Optical Systems

A family of gyro-stabilised camera turrets for ISR and target acquisition, available in three configurations. The eOpic-5 (1.1 kg) covers visible and thermal imaging for reconnaissance missions. The eOpic-6 (1.5-2 kg) adds SWIR sensors for extended detection range in an ISR and ISTAR configuration. The eOpic-8 (6 kg) is the full-capability variant with visible, LWIR, MWIR and SWIR sensors plus a laser target designator compliant with NATO standards. All models integrate with Threod mission software and can be mounted on third-party platforms.

Cata Pneumatic Launcher Systems

A family of pneumatic catapult launchers for rapid field deployment of fixed-wing aircraft, one-way effectors and target drones. Three models cover different payload classes: the Cata B and Cata BT handle aircraft up to 400 kg at up to 55 m/s, while the Cata BX handles payloads up to 150 kg at 45 m/s. All variants can be deployed and extracted within three minutes and require just one week of operator training. The systems have accumulated thousands of hours of battlefield use across NATO member states and Ukraine.

Threod Systems is an Estonian defence technology company founded in 2012 and headquartered in Viimsi parish, near Tallinn. The company designs, manufactures and supports unmanned aircraft systems, electro-optical ISR payloads and pneumatic launcher systems, with all products developed in-house by a team of over 200 engineers and technicians.

The core product is the Eos family of tactical fixed-wing and VTOL UAVs, built for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and target acquisition in contested environments. These fly alongside the eOpic gyro-stabilised camera systems and the Cata pneumatic launchers, forming a modular tactical ISR kit. Operators can field all three components as an integrated system or mix them with platforms from other manufacturers.

Threod systems have been delivered to customers in 27 countries, including 14 NATO member states and Ukraine, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces have used them in active combat operations. Product development draws directly on battlefield feedback, with thousands of hours of operational experience informing each design iteration.

The Dutch Army's 42nd Armoured Infantry Battalion operationally fielded the Eos C VTOL in 2024, marking a notable NATO adoption milestone. Threod is also developing the Eos D VTOL, planned for delivery in 2026.
