Its product, Triton Nodes, places hydrophones on the seabed to collect acoustic data. Onboard AI analyses the signatures in real time and flags vessels, divers, drones or other activity near cables, pipelines and coastlines, alerting the operators who monitor that infrastructure. Carl Borg, the CEO, has described the aim as building an intelligence layer for the ocean that serves both civilian and defence users.

In April 2026, Triton Depth was named Student Startup of the Year at DTU Commemoration. Three months later, the company raised a €1 million pre-seed round led by EIFO, the Danish state export and investment fund, and The Creator Fund. It said the funding would go toward expanding sensor deployments and building the dataset needed to improve detection and classification. The technology has been undergoing testing in Danish ports as Nordic governments watch for sabotage and shadow-fleet activity around subsea cables in the Baltic Sea.
