Job Description

Hozint is looking for online interns to work as political risk and threat intelligence analysts.

  • – Term: 4 or 6 months;

  • – Workload:

  •       **–** Week-days (Monday to Friday): 4h/day; or
    
  •       **–** Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): 6h/day
    
  • – Remuneration: unpaid;

Main tasks
  • – Monitor and analyse Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) sources on safety & security issues (e.g. terrorism, crime, civil unrest, natural disasters, epidemic, etc.);

  • – Verify the information accuracy;

  • – Write short operational alerts on safety/security events;

  • – Provide weekly briefings on major security trends and forecasts;

  • – Update country profile database;

Qualifications and Experience
  • – To be enrolled in at least the last year of a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science/International Relations/Economics (preference will be given to Master's Degree students);

  • – Excellent writing skills in English; additional languages considered as an advantage;

  • – Knowledge of current international affairs, including security, political and economic issues;

  • – Familiarity with at least one of these regions: Africa, Asia/Pacific, Americas, Europe/CIS, MENA;

  • – Flexibility and ability to work in a small but international structure;

  • – Excellent communication skills;

  • – Reliability and ability to work remotely;

  • – Dynamic and well-organised, with an eye for detail;

  • – Good interpersonal skills;

  • – Superior computer skills and ability to web-edit is an asset;
