Job Description
Hozint is looking for online interns willing to learn more about the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on (geo)political and security risk analysis.

– Term: 4 or 6 months. Flexible hours;

– Workload: 4h/day; Week-days (Monday -Friday) or Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

– Remuneration: unpaid;
Main tasks
-
– Monitor and analyse safety and security information coming from Hozint AI software;

– Build high-impact training datasets. Research, collect, and structure real-world events related to geopolitics and security (e.g., protests, conflict dynamics, sanctions, maritime incidents) to power next-gen ML models.;

– Label with purpose. Annotate events using clear taxonomies (categories, actors, geographies, severity) and craft model-ready examples, edge cases, and counter-examples to improve precision and recall.;

– Build a knowledge base. Compile a database of geopolitical analyses and forecasts for a new agentic AI module.

– Other tasks as assigned by the internship supervisor;
Qualifications and Experience

– Master's Degree or enrolled in an equivalent program (preferably in Political Science/International Relations/Economics);

– Strong interest and curiosity in technology (e.g. Artificial Intelligence);

– Excellent writing skills in English; additional languages considered as an advantage;

– Knowledge of current international affairs, including security, political and economic issues;

– Familiarity with at least one of these regions: Africa, Asia/Pacific, Americas, Europe/CIS, MENA;

– Flexibility and ability to work in a small but international structure;

– Excellent communication skills;

– Reliability and ability to work remotely;

– Dynamic and well-organised, with an eye for detail;

– Good interpersonal skills;
