Job Description
We are looking for an Electrochemist to strengthen our R&D team and lead the electrochemical characterization and performance analysis of our micro-tubular solid oxide fuel cells. You will play a key role in understanding, improving, and validating our technology: from single cells to stacks, and turning data into actionable insights for design and materials development.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with materials, mechanical, and electronics engineers to connect fundamental electrochemistry with real-world system requirements, supporting both internal development and collaborative projects with partners and customers.
Your tasks: Design and execute fuel cell testing campaigns at single-cell and stack level. Perform and analyze electrochemical measurements (I-V, impedance spectroscopy, degradation studies). Conduct post-test analysis and reporting. Collaborate with design and modeling teams. Support collaboration projects. Document testing protocols and conclusions.
Your qualifications: MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related field. Strong background in electrochemical methods (impedance spectroscopy, polarization curves, degradation analysis) with 3+ years experience. Hands-on experience with fuel cells, batteries, or electrochemical energy devices. Familiarity with equivalent circuit modeling. Knowledge of SOFC operating principles a strong advantage.
Why join: Fast-growing field of revolutionary green energy technology. Competitive salary. Unlimited career growth in a startup. Wellness benefits. International youthful team with monthly socials. 35 paid holiday days per year.
