Electrical Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up test stands for high-thrust rocket engines. You will ensure the development and management of test procedures, and you will conduct rigorous testing to validate the engines' performance, reliability, and safety. You will contribute directly to the optimization of propulsion systems.

Tasks & missions

• Depending on the test campaign, act as Test Campaign Manager or as a technical assistant to the Campaign Manager.

• Ensure the technical and operational management of test campaigns, as well as the monitoring of associated activities.

• Participate in the design, integration, and commissioning of test benches, particularly on electrical aspects (power distribution, instrumentation, control systems).

• Define and write test plans, measurement plans, and test procedures, as well as the operations plan for test campaigns.

• Ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems on test benches by performing inspections, diagnostics, and necessary corrective actions.

• Contribute to the commissioning, verification, and reliability of electrical installations required for testing.

• Ensure test traceability, as well as the reporting and resolution of technical anomalies in collaboration with design teams.

• Participate in risk analyses and safety studies related to test campaigns.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of operations, test execution, and field activities

• Good understanding of the product development lifecycle

• Solid understanding of electrical principles

• Knowledge of safety standards, diagnostics, and troubleshooting

Education & Experience:

• 10–15 years of experience in operations or as an electrical engineer

• Engineering degree with a specialization in electrical engineering
