Job Description
You will work closely with the design office to support product industrialization. You will design tooling, provide guidance on manufacturing processes, and serve as the link between production and assembly workshops. This key role ensures a smooth transition from design to production while optimizing quality, cost, and lead times.
Tasks & missions

Lead industrialization projects for complex systems.

Define project phases and manage associated timelines.

Monitor progress and report to project stakeholders.

Conduct lessons learned to improve future project execution.

Identify suppliers and oversee outsourced manufacturing.

Provide production resources, tools, jigs, and documentation.

Define, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes while ensuring quality, cost, and timeline targets, staying up-to-date with technological developments.

Develop manufacturing and assembly process plans.

Identify malfunctions and propose improvement solutions.

Participate in prototype assembly, testing, and qualification.
Design & Programming
- Design and model parts, tools, or fixtures using computer-aided design software (NX).
Documentation & Technical Follow-up

Write and update technical and manufacturing documentation.

Develop tools to manage projects or production activities.

Establish and document manufacturing standards.
Preferred experience & skills
Technical Skills

Proficient in reading complex drawings, including tolerancing and dimension chains

Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, hydraulics, welding, electronics)

Understanding of materials and heat treatments

Awareness of lean principles, cost management, and industrial optimization

Education and experience:

Mechanical engineering background or equivalent

Experience in a methods/industrialization department (or willingness to develop skills in this area)

Experience leading projects or work teams (or willingness to develop in this area)

Ideally 5 to 10 years of professional experience

Professional bachelor's degree in Methods and Prototyping, or DUT/BTS in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
