Your Responsibilities

• Plan and design ship communication systems at system level for installations and equipment

• Electrical design including circuit diagrams, bills of materials, cable plans and equipment design

• Select, size and specify cables and connectors

• Apply design methods in compliance with relevant standards and regulations

• Create and maintain material master data in an ERP system, e.g. MS Business Central

• Clarify technical details and coordinate with shipyards

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering with further qualification as a state-certified electrical engineering technician, or comparable qualification such as a university degree

• Confident use of CAE tools (EPLAN and optionally Engineering Base)

• Knowledge of relevant standards is an advantage, e.g. VG 95218, BV 3400 and IEC 60228

• Knowledge of MIL connectors and basic knowledge of network cabling are advantageous

• Reliability, good communication skills and a confident, professional manner

• Good written and spoken German and English
