Products & Solutions

APCOS 4000 – Integrated Communication System
APCOS 4000 – Integrated Communication System
Open-architecture digital communications platform for surface warships and submarines. APCOS 4000 handles tactical voice, internal comms, radio system integration, IP routing, voice over IP and strict separation of classified and unclassified traffic. Network nodes interconnect via a redundant dual fibre-optic ring, ensuring survivability in the event of cable breaks or node faults. Deployed on the German Navy's F125 frigate programme among other vessels.
SAMMS – Secure Automatic Military Messaging System
SAMMS – Secure Automatic Military Messaging System
Military message handling system compliant with ACP 127/128, STANAG 4406 and STANAG 5066. SAMMS handles message drafting, routing, scheduling, signing and encryption, and supports email, HF operator chat, ADat-P3 and OTH-Gold. It operates as a standalone terminal or networked across workstations and integrates with the COSYMA communications management system. Development of SAMMS 8, the next-generation version, was announced in 2024.
Multifunctional Submarine Antenna Systems
Multifunctional Submarine Antenna Systems
Space-efficient antenna systems engineered for the confined masts and harsh conditions of submarine operations. The AT-4000 Series combines VHF, UHF, IFF, GPS and INMARSAT-C coverage in a compact fibre-glass dome stack, while the AT-7000 Series adds COMINT and ELINT signal intelligence collection alongside full communications capability. The AT-5000 Series provides UHF SATCOM with DAMA mode for both submarines and surface vessels. Over 188 units of the AT-4000 and AT-5000 series are in service.
RFDU – Radio/Antenna-Switching Matrix
RFDU – Radio/Antenna-Switching Matrix
Software-controlled switching matrix (R/A-SM 9000) that connects transceivers and receivers to active and passive antennas across 2–500 MHz, with optional GPS and GALILEO capability. The modular system comprises separate Transmit (TXDU) and Receive (RXDU) distribution units, scalable to the number of inputs and outputs required, and remotely controlled via Ethernet. Handles RF signals up to 500 W CW.
