Your mission

  • Build, assemble, and wire electro-mechanical UAV subsystems including power, sensors, and control modules

  • Assemble and integrate UAV components such as wiring harnesses, connectors, batteries, and structural elements

  • Set up and improve lab-based assembly and small-batch production workflows

  • Build and maintain wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and connector interfaces

  • Diagnose, repair, and rebuild UAVs after test flights or field missions; identify root causes and implement durable fixes

  • Test assembled systems and verify reliability under operational conditions

  • Create clear assembly, wiring, and repair documentation for production and maintenance

  • Train team members on hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and repair procedures

  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure reliable system integration

  • Support field deployments when needed by performing hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and hardware improvements

  • Continuously improve robustness, maintainability, and reliability of UAV hardware

Your profile

  • Extensive hands-on experience working with mechanical and electro-mechanical systems (automotive, aerospace, robotics, or similar)

  • Strong practical skills in assembling, repairing, and modifying hardware systems

  • Skilled with soldering, crimping, cable routing, connector installation, and harness building

  • Comfortable working with low-voltage electrical systems such as batteries, DC converters, fuses, and connectors

  • Experienced using workshop and diagnostic tools (multimeter, power supplies, basic oscilloscopes, hand tools)

  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues methodically and repair systems under time pressure

  • Experience with RC aircraft, FPV drones, automotive electronics, or DIY mechanical projects is a strong plus

  • Comfortable reading basic technical drawings, wiring diagrams, or CAD references when needed

  • Clear and structured documentation habits for builds, repairs, and tests

  • Pragmatic builder who focuses on reliable, field-ready hardware

  • Formal degrees are not required — deep hands-on experience and technical craftsmanship are what matter most
