Project/Program Manager for Earth Observation Projects (m/f/d)

In this role, you will be responsible for the organizational, administrative, contractual and business management of projects in the field of Earth Observation. You will serve as the central point of contact between suppliers, sub-contractors, partners, technical teams, ensuring that projects are implemented on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed-upon quality standards.

Your main tasks:

• Planning, managing, and monitoring Earth observation mission or downstream projects throughout the entire project lifecycle

• Coordinating internal and external project stakeholders and managing interfaces with funding agencies, suppliers, partners, and technical teams

• Creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, resource overviews, and risk registers

• Financial controlling within the project and ensuring payment milestones and reporting

• Organizing and facilitating project meetings, as well as tracking actions and decisions

• Establishing contract, proposal, and documentation management systems

• Preparing project reports, status updates, and management presentations

• Conducting audits and reviews, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements
