Your Mission:

  • Plan and execute Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) activities for satellite platforms and spacecraft subsystems.

  • Perform mechanical and electrical integration of flight hardware.

  • Develop, review, and execute AIT procedures, test plans, and test reports.

  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve integration and test anomalies using structured root cause analysis.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Support satellite qualification, acceptance, and launch campaign activities.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of AIT processes, tooling and automation.

  • Support the development and validation of ground support equipment (GSE) and automated test setups where applicable.

  • Ensure all AIT activities are performed in accordance with quality, cleanliness and safety standards.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in spacecraft, satellite, or other high-reliability aerospace AIT environments.

  • Strong understanding of spacecraft integration and environmental qualification processes.

  • Experience with environmental test campaigns such as TVAC & vibration.

  • Familiarity with ECSS standards or equivalent aerospace quality standards is highly desirable.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, hands-on approach.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Fluent English is required; German language skills are a plus.

  • The role involves up to 5% business travel.
