Products & Solutions

AQlock
A compact, ruggedised cold atom atomic clock delivering GPS-independent positioning, navigation and timing (PNT). AQlock is the first commercially available cold atom clock built in the UK, using Aquark's supermolasses laser cooling method to achieve high-precision timekeeping without magnetic field traps. It has been tested at sea with the Royal Navy and is designed for defence and critical infrastructure deployments where GNSS signals cannot be relied upon.
AQuest
A fully packaged, portable cold atom source that provides ready-to-use ultracold atoms for quantum experiments and sensor development. AQuest serves as an affordable universal core for cold atom research, removing the complexity of building and configuring a cold atom system from scratch so researchers can focus on their experiments.
AQurate
An ultra-compact, ruggedised laser spectroscopy module for precise laser frequency stabilisation. Built to a standardised 33 mm x 33 mm form factor and proven to achieve approximately 300 SNR, AQurate is suitable for both laboratory and field deployment as a component in quantum sensing and timing systems.

About

Aquark Technologies is a quantum hardware company founded in 2021 and based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, UK. Spun out of the University of Southampton and drawing on over 16 years of research, the company specialises in miniaturising cold atom quantum systems — shrinking room-sized laboratory rigs into compact, ruggedised devices that can operate in the field.
