About

Artillerie Inrichtingen Armaments (AIA) is a Dutch-owned defence SME registered in 2022, headquartered in Tilburg, Netherlands. The company takes its name from the historic Artillerie Inrichtingen, a Dutch state munitions factory whose roots trace to 1679. AIA was founded by mechanical engineer Gerard Zondervan to restore domestic Dutch production capacity for ammunition and small arms, responding to the strategic dependency gaps exposed by the war in Ukraine.
