Its core product, SKIPPER, is an add-on system that can turn an existing or newly built vessel into an autonomous one. It connects to the propulsion and steering, follows pre-planned waypoint missions, uses sensors such as radar, sonar and cameras to avoid obstacles and streams data and video to a remote operator who can take control at any time. For naval users the company lists tasks including logistics, mine and UXO search, surveillance, interception and search and rescue.

DanaDynamics takes part in the MARS project on autonomous maritime technology with NextGen Robotics, which includes work on the next generation of commuter ferries and a retrofit of HjortøBoen, a small ferry running between Svendborg and the island of Hjortø. It also works with the Danish Maritime Authority, maritime schools and Danish universities.
