DedroneTracker.AI

The company's central software platform, DedroneTracker.AI fuses inputs from RF sensors, radar, PTZ cameras and acoustic detectors to detect, classify and localise drone threats in real time. It can be deployed cloud-managed or on-premises, and serves as the command layer for all Dedrone hardware solutions. The platform uses machine learning trained on 18 million drone images to minimise false positives.

DedroneFixedSite

A permanently installed multi-sensor counter-UAS system designed to provide continuous airspace protection over critical facilities such as prisons, military bases and government buildings. The system integrates RF detection, radar and camera layers into a unified operational picture fed into DedroneTracker.AI.

DedroneDefender 2

A directional jammer designed to defeat drone threats by disrupting the radio link between a drone and its operator. The Defender 2 is cloud-enabled and operates in both urban and field conditions, forming the active mitigation layer within a full Dedrone deployment.

DedroneTactical

A modular expeditionary counter-UAS mast combining RF detection and defeat in a single deployable unit, with optional radar and camera integration. Designed for military and government use in austere environments, DedroneTactical has been sold to more than 100 US and allied government customers.

DedroneOnTheMove

A vehicle-mounted counter-UAS system providing airspace monitoring for moving convoys or patrol vehicles. It feeds threat data to operators in real time without requiring a fixed installation.

DedronePortable

A man-portable counter-UAS kit for rapid deployment by small teams in expeditionary or event-security settings. Designed for military and commercial operators who need quick setup and teardown.

Dedrone builds airspace security systems that detect, track and defeat unauthorized drones. Founded in 2014 in Kassel, Germany, the company relocated its headquarters to Sterling, Virginia, and grew into one of the primary counter-UAS vendors serving both government and commercial customers globally. In October 2024, Axon Enterprise completed its acquisition of Dedrone, integrating the technology into its broader public safety platform.

In Ukraine, the company established a real-time development office in Denmark and became one of 15 inaugural signatories of the Ukraine Defence Industry Compact.

In 2023, Dedrone tripled its revenue and closed 16 new government contracts globally. Before the Axon acquisition, the company had offices in Sterling, Virginia; San Francisco; Phoenix; Westerville, Ohio; Bristol, UK; Odense, Denmark and Kassel, Germany.
