Products & Solutions

MAGIC Quantum Computer
An ion-trap quantum computer that uses microwave fields rather than lasers to control qubits, via eleQtron's proprietary MAGIC (Magnetic Gradient Induced Coupling) technology. The approach enables precise, scalable and cost-effective qubit control by integrating individual qubit addressing into miniaturized trap chips. Systems are already operational and deployed at German research institutions, with applications spanning optimization, molecular simulation, logistics, cryptography and machine learning.

About

eleQtron was founded in 2020 as a spin-off from the Department of Quantum Optics at the University of Siegen, making it Germany's first commercial quantum computing hardware company. The company develops and operates trapped-ion quantum computers built around its proprietary MAGIC technology — Magnetic Gradient Induced Coupling — which replaces the laser control used by most competitors with microwave fields, allowing for more precise, more scalable and cheaper qubit control.
