Products & Solutions

Mast Systems
A family of hoistable masts covering the full operational spectrum: snorkel, radar, communications, satcomms, ESM, optronic, periscope and weapon variants. Each mast is bespoke-configured for a specific submarine platform and mission, engineered for low acoustic and visual signature. The portfolio serves both new-build programmes and refit contracts, and is compatible with conventional submarines and extra-large autonomous underwater vehicles.
Xhale
A snorkel air management component that handles submarine breathing and venting functions with minimal acoustic signature when extended. Designed for quiet, reliable operation across the full dive and surface cycle.
Pulse
A shore power and network systems integration unit that connects the submarine to harbour infrastructure when alongside in port, enabling recharging and communications without exposing the vessel.
Relay
A one-time expendable communications buoy deployed from a torpedo tube to enable rapid, secure signalling from a submerged submarine. Designed for situations where covert, low-exposure communication is required.
Roam
A buoyant wired antenna that provides persistent connectivity between a submerged submarine and the surface, maintaining the communications link throughout a mission.
Ranger
A reusable, ISR-configured uncrewed surface vessel launched from a standard submarine torpedo tube. Carries a mast-mounted sensor suite to extend surveillance and reconnaissance reach beyond what the parent submarine can safely achieve while submerged.

About

Founded in 1962 by Prof. Ulrich Gabler in Lübeck, Germany, Gabler Maschinenbau designs and manufactures submarine systems that have been fitted to approximately 185 submarines across more than 25 navies. Originally focused on hoistable masts for German Cold War-era submarines, the company has expanded into a broader portfolio of submarine components and torpedo-tube-launched unmanned platforms. In 2013 it was acquired by the Possehl Group, and in March 2026 it listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as Gabler Group AG.
