Products & Solutions

Quell-X
A quantum key distribution system pairing an Alice and a Bob unit to generate and distribute quantum-secured keys over standard telecom fibre in the C-band or O-band. It supports point-to-point links as well as trusted-node, ring and star network topologies. Quell-X comes in two other versions: Quell-XC, which pairs the core system with high-speed cipher units from Telsy to encrypt data across the whole link, and Quell-XR, a research variant that outputs raw key data for custom post-processing and academic use.
Ekate
A crypto-agile key management platform that combines quantum key distribution with post-quantum cryptography in one modular system. It integrates with existing telecom infrastructure across all OSI layers and includes a built-in quantum random number generator, aimed at operators who need to mix QKD and PQC as encryption standards evolve.
QKME
A network appliance (Key Management Entity) that handles secure key storage and deployment across multiple clients, letting QKD systems built on different standards interoperate with each other and with existing network infrastructure. It integrates with QTI's Quell-X systems as part of a full network deployment.
QSDN
A software-defined networking layer built on the ETSI GS QKD 015 standard, letting operators configure and automate QKD links dynamically across a network instead of provisioning point-to-point connections by hand.

About

QTI (Quantum Telecommunications Italy) builds quantum key distribution systems that protect fibre-optic communications against both classical and quantum computer attacks. The company was founded in October 2020 in Florence as a spin-off from the CNR's National Institute of Optics (CNR-INO), by a group of scientists and researchers with backgrounds in atomic physics, quantum optics and quantum communication.
